Mego Workshop

Mego Workshop is a small home studio near the Swan River in Western Australia, run by maker Kimi. She is currently focused on creating everyday ceramic pieces that combine function and simple beauty, using stoneware clay made in Western Australia. Her work also includes fiber crafts and gemstone necklaces. Inspiration comes from daily life, the natural surroundings, and the design sensibilities of Taiwanese and Japanese household objects.

Kimi’s ceramics carry the marks and textures of handmade work, showing a quiet and natural character. From childhood memories of playing with mud to the search for a sense of grounding after moving to Australia, these experiences shape her connection with clay and are reflected in each piece. She hopes her work brings small but real moments of joy into everyday life.
