Wooden Edge Studio

It often starts with a beautiful piece of inspiring timber and the urge to do something amazing with it.

At the end of a successful career as a chef, I knew that my creative mind would not rest and I felt the need to share my talent with others, as I did with my food.

I created Wooden Edge Studio as a vehicle to promote the wonderful diversity of timber Western Australia has to offer.

Creating pieces with respect for the material I work with, I produce a range of practical objects and occasional furniture with wood and resin, as well as special commissions - from commercial designs to retail store selections.

Wooden Edge Studio is working on a "zero waste" approach, and some of my collections have used wood-off cuts, shavings and saw dust in their design.

I am passionate about supporting hand made local produce, and understand the benefits for our economy.

I source rare timber from the South West of Western Australia, recycled old timber, Perth sale yards, and private collectors.
