Tones & Texture

Tones & Texture offers a totally unique collection of hand-made colourful Art Weavings, of various sizes and colour-ways. As well as a new range of boho styled woven necklaces. All weavings are individually designed and created by Sophie Mahir, as a sideline to her main art practice of abstract painting. With Sophie’s love of yarn that had developed at a young age, it was only a matter of time before it re-surfaced in her art!.

Each woven wall hanging is made from a variety of different yarns and some have natural found embellishments, such as shells, beads and driftwood to enhance the design and add some surprise and texture. They are all hung on locally sourced branches from the bush, or found wood from the beaches here in WA.

Weavings are a perfect addition to any room in your home or even your office - just chose your favourite colours and style or ask Sophie about commissioning a piece that works for you and your space.
