My Mandala Shop

My Mandala Shop supports families, community groups and some monastic groups by the sale unique, hand made craft products.

This curated collection is sourced from groups who specialise in their particular art or craft.

Woolen felt products are created in community workshops by women who live and work together. Yak wool shawls - hand loomed by the Tibetan refugees still living in Nepal. The singing bowls are created by hand from a blend of sometimes three metals and up to seven metals in the best quality of bowls. Men squat amongst the ashes as they beat and shape the bowls to get just the right sound. The clothing I sell (usually made form cotton) is made in small community workshop where employers have strict working condition controls in place.

In 2021 My Mandala Shop contributed to a food drive organised by one of my suppliers to help some very poor families survive through the long Covid 19 lock down and during 2021 sent $42,000 to Nepal.
