Sue Harrold Pottery
I live in the Great Southern in a little town, not far from the Stirling Ranges, where I make unique things from clay.
Everything is handmade and different.
I fire it all in a gas kiln to stoneware temperature which makes all items strong and rain proof.
I love the process of working with clay. The building of it, the carving and the painting. The glazing and firing.
I make little houses that are safe outside in the garden and will inspire little ones to play. My incense houses are a novel way to burn incense without the ash making a mess.
I am always finding new and interesting things to make as my aim is to create affordable art that is sometimes functional.
The latest addition to my stall are yarn bowls with, and without faces. Wheel thrown and then altered to create someone interesting to keep you company while you knit.
Coffee cups are a new addition to my range.
