What exactly is Nonya Cooking?
Nonya cooking is a style of cooking that originated in the Malay Peninsula of Southeast Asia. Nonya or Peranakan cuisine is named after the Peranakans, who are descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca, Singapore, and Indonesia, intermarrying with local Malays.
Our Nonya or Peranakan sauce recipes are traditional family recipes passed down through generations.
To make our delicious Nonya food at home, simply add your own fresh ingredients with our suggested recipes. Artificial preservatives, flavours, and colours are not used in any of our sauces. We source our fresh ingredients locally and all our sauces are Australian made.
