CARIOCAS BRAZILIAN BBQ
Officially launched in March 2018, Cariocas Brazilian BBQ is a Perth based mobile food stall created and run
by Brazilians that love food and most importantly, that love people! Originally from Rio de Janeiro, our dishes
are inspired by the “Carioca” way of cooking and lifestyle, having the barbecue as a key element of this
journey. More than just catering mouth-watering food, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service
and a great experience for all of our customers.
Pronounced ka-ri-oh-kas, what does ‘Cariocas’ actually mean? Officially, Carioca is someone or something
from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Cariocas have developed a culture that reflects their character – easy-going,
warm, friendly, diverse, vibrant and revelling in the pleasures of life. The original Brazilian capital for more
than 300 years, Rio de Janeiro has been influenced by all corners of the country to create its own distinct
culture which includes music, dance, art, design and, of course, superb food.
