Beads from a necklace no one was wearing anymore. A single earring that lost its match years ago, given a second job as a hat pin. A feather that fell where it was always going to fall, picked on a walk through the Perth hills or a morning along the coast. We find these things, we source them, we hold onto them for a while and then we give them a new job, stitched, strung and set by hand onto a fedora that's ready for its own story.
