Information for Buskers and Musicians
At Perth Makers Market we love having live musicians and have three separate locations at the market where we have buskers throughout the day. We particularly like to foster school students who are interested in making music their career.

FAQs for Buskers
1. Is there shade provided?
Yes, we have a gazebo set up for you to busk under.
2. Is there access to power for me to use?
Unfortunately due to the age of the site there is no access to power. If you require use of an amp you must be able to operate without power.
3. Is there a retainer paid to musicians?
No, we are not able to pay a retainer to musicians unfortunately. All money that you raise during your busking is yours to keep and we are happy for you to advertise your music or sell CDs.
4. Can I just turn up on the day to busk?
No, you must register your interest with us and we put together set times for you to busk in specific locations. This is so there is no overlap of music at the market and you are not playing in competition with other buskers.
