Suzie Brown-Artist

Suzie Brown is a Perth based contemporary artist, who uses lots of colour and lashings of textural paint. Her work is impressionistic and she just loves how a stoke of paint can't evoke an emotional response from the viewer. She works from her home studio/gallery. Suzie explores many mediums, but works primarily in acrylics. Portraiture is her first love and she is influenced by Warhol, the impressionists and recently Francoise Neilly. Suzie makes jewelry from her paintings. Pouring and resin work are areas she is currently creating homewares with. Suzie has been exhibiting around WA for the last 10 years. Suzie's work is sold nationally and has a lot of international interest. Suzie takes on commissions regularly and each is treated with her unique twist.
